Have you considered the reagent supplier? I experienced a lot of trouble
trying to reproduce som crystals grown with Hampton's Detergent Screening
Kit after having purchased the appropriate detergent. I contacted Hampton
and was told that they allways use the Fluka reagent, while I had been
working with the Merck compound.
