RESEARCH ASSISTANT/TECHNICIAN
A position for a research assistant or technician in protein
crystallography is available in the Department of Molecular Cardiology
at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Applicants should hold a
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
Prior experience in crystallography is desirable but not necessary;
experience in crystallization, analytical chemistry, molecular
biology, or protein chemistry is required. Familiarity with computers
(unix) is also desirable. The successful applicant will be engaged
in protein purification and crystallization, as well as data
collection. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications
and experience. The expected start date is July 1, 1997 or soon
therafter; applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
