The Structural Biology Laboratory at Massey University has an opening for
a post-doctoral fellow to work on a project supported by the Marsden Fund
of New Zealand on the structural biology of enzymes with iron in
non-redox roles. The initial appointment will be for two years with the
possibility of extension to a third year. Marsden post-doctoral salaries
are NZ$44,444 (Approx. US$31,000).
Applications are invited from persons holding a recognised PhD degree and
having interests and skills in protein X-ray crystallography and protein
purification and crystallisation. The laboratory is well-equipped for all
aspects of protein crystallography, including access to synchrotron
sources and molecular biology.
