Your Challenge
To provide technical support to members of the Macromolecular Structure
Group in the computational aspects of research; help in the development
and implementation of new algorithms, port new software and upgrade
existing software. Co-manage the network of Unix workstations and PCs.
Education
B.Sc. in Computer sciences, physics, chemistry or biochemistry. A Master
degree in one of these fields will be an asset.
Your credentials
At least three years of experience as a system manager of networked Unix
workstations coming preferably from a scientific or an engineering
environment. Previous experience in programming and in computer support
for a team of scientists.
Knowledge of English and French is required. Unilingual persons may
apply but must indicate their willingness to become bilingual and must
demonstrate their potential to achieve the required levels of linguistic
proficiency.
