SIEMENS AREA DETECTOR USERS GROUP MEETING

Thursday Noon to Saturday Noon, April 17-19, 1997
        	Georgia Center for Continuing Education
        	       The University of Georgia
        		   Athens, GA 30602

        		  APRIL 17-19, 1997

Organizers: John Rose and Bi-Cheng Wang

This is the latest in a series of workshops begun with the multiwire
area detectors for protein crystallography. The University of Georgia
organizers this year suggested opening it up to both multiwire and CCD
users, with emphasis on both small molecules and proteins. These are
hands-on sessions, with hints and tips from existing users. Lots of
practical ideas and software are exchanged, and useful contacts made.
We hope to see you there.

General Topics:

    A. Hardware B. Data Collection Techniques
Goebel Mirrors How to Collect the BEST Data
       HI-STAR Small Molecule
       SMART 1K Proteins
       SMART 2K Low Temperature Techniques
       CCD Matrix Twinning
       Multi Detector Systems

    C. Software for the 90's D. Demonstrations
       ASTRO Goebel Mirrors
