POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PROTEIN CRYSTALLOGRAPHY
DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY, UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND, BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA

Applications are invited for an appointment as a Senior Research Officer
(Level B) / Research Officer (Level A) in the Department of Biochemistry,
working on the structure and function of purple acid phosphatases in the
context of osteoporosis. Applicants must possess a PhD in a relevant area
and must have experience in protein crystallography. Experience in
recombinant protein expression/purification will be an advantage. X-ray
facilities include R-AXIS IIC/RU-200/Oxford Cryostream.
Appointment will be for two years in the first instance, starting from
early January 1998. The level of appointment will depend on experience.
Salary will be in the range $43,601 - $51,776 per annum (Senior Research
Officer - Level B); $30,537 - $41,421 per annum (Research Officer - Level
A).
