		Electron Microscopy Facility Manager


	Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia is seeking an Electron
Microscopy Facility Manager. With the help of an experienced
technical specialist, the successful candidate will oversee the
operation of an institutionally-supported core facility including two
transmission electron microscopes, a scanning microscope,
ultramicrotomes, vacuum evaporators, and ancillary equipment.  This
individual will establish a scientific interface with faculty members
who are using model systems such as yeast, C. elegans,
Xenopus, viruses, mice, as well as humans to study various
aspects of structural,  molecular, cellular, and developmental
biology; immunobiology;  virology; and cancer biology. 
Reasearch interests include protein-nucleic acid interactions;
viral-host interactions, cellular structure and morphology, and
intracellular trafficking.  A Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral experience
with conventional electron microscopy, immunoelectron microscopy,
and/or cryoelectron microscopy-image reconstruction, are required.
