                    in Structural Biology

         Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge


A postdoctoral position is available for two years in the first
instance in the newly established group "Structural Biology of
Molecular Machines" at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology,
Cambridge, UK.

The group will employ X-ray crystallography and electron microscopy
to investigate high-molecular weight proteins involved in mechano-
chemical cellular processes. A possible project could be structural
characterization of dynein, starting at the protein expression or
purification level. Projects in more advanced stages are available.
The salary will be in MRC pay band 4 and will be betwee
17.000 - 24.000bps depending on qualifications and experience.
