Hi Everyone,
I wonder if anybody has tried to express selenometionyl protein in
either Pichia pastoris or in SF9 insect cells? There are only two
reports
in the literature by Chen WY, et al. (1991), as far as the SF9 cells are
concerned. They claim that they got more than 84% of methionine residues
substituted by selenomethionine.
I would appreciate any hints and/or comments.
