Alpha station for a crystallography lab

Our alphas run all these programs, and at a very nice speed. We recently
bought a 533 MHz alpha with the 40/60 graphics card, 2 Gb disk, 21''
monitor and 128 Mb of RAM for about 15K dollars.

I am not sure on the linux thing. I think you could run into trouble with
"O". You can check the status of the version of O for Linux in the O home
page (http://imsb.au.dk/~mok/o/).

All our systems run under Digital Unix.
