Postdoctoral position available in April 1998 to
   (1) run the departmental structure-determination service, and 
   (2) do research inmolecular solid-state chemistry and/or the systematics of 
       crystalpacking under the direction of Professor Carolyn Brock. 

Funding is currently guaranteed for one year; renewal would be 
contingent on the availability of funds.  Equipment currently 
available includes a:
  CAD4 diffractometer with low-temperature system, 
  a Rigaku powder diffractometer, 
  the Cambridge Structural Database, 
  and a selection of computers.  

A Nonius Kappa CCD diffractometer has been ordered.
