Several people have written that the problem might be that I have f77
instead of g77. That was actually the first way I had it set up. I
changed it to f77 since both files exist on our computer and I had hoped
that things would correct themselves automagically. It didn't.
It was also suggested that I try fort77 and compile it more directly via
gcc. I'll see if that will work.
