We are considering the purchase of a Protein Solutions Dynapro MS
dynamic light scattering instrument, primarily for the assessment
of sample polydispersity before attempting crystallization.
As it is a rather expensive piece of equipment I need to provide
a good justification for the investment and would like to
hear from anybody with experience in using it, how useful
they find it to be for assessing samples for potential
crystallization, and how it compares with other (cheaper?)
instruments.
Thanks
