Apparently you want to familiarize yourself with intracellular
signalling in general, therefore I would start with a good book.
Try either Alberts et al., Molecular Biology of the Cell, or
Darnell et al., Molecular Cell Biology.
Followups to bionet.general since this has absolutely nothing to do
with X-ray crystallography.
