Computational Crystallographer
------------------------------

A postdoctoral position is available with the Shake-and-Bake research
team, which is located in Western New York (home of the ACA, Buffalo Bills, 
Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Niagara Falls, and SUNY-Buffalo).  The research 
involves the development of direct phasing methods and their integration with 
macromolecular crystallographic techniques.  Applicants must have significant
programming experience including a working knowledge of Fortran
as well as experience in macromolecular crystallography with expertise
in the use of standard software packages.  The Hauptman-Woodward
Institute contains state-of-the-art equipment for protein
production, crystallization, diffraction data collection, and computing.
Additional computing power is supplied by SUNY-Buffalo's Center for
Computational Research which houses a 64-processor SGI/Cray Origin 2000
and has ordered a 56-node IBM SP.  Applicants should send their CV and
