We have one, it seems to last quite a while - possibly even a
couple of weeks at a push, but anyway quite adequate for the
few days of a synchrotron trip. It can be quite fiddly getting
things out of the canes.

Don't try to take hanging drop boxes on a plane trip. If you
aren't deranged beforehand, you will be afterwards. Actually they
survived surprisingly well, but it was just too nerve-wracking
to repeat...
