octahedron/tetrahedron blocks

I've designed a Lego like block that forms Octahedra and Tetrahedra instead of
the conventional rectangular bricks.
I believe my blocks would be inexpensive to manufacture.
They would be a good teaching/research tool for crystallography and geometry.
