I have designed a toy somewhat like Legos but using Octahedra and Tetrahedra
instead of rectangular bricks. I believe my blocks would be inexpensive to
manufacture.
Similar blocks could be made for other space filling solids.
I believe this could be a great teaching/research tool for crystallography.
