Bruker Area Detector Users Meeting. Year 2000!
Reciprocal Space Camp
The Bruker Area Detector users meeting (BAD'UM) will be held at the
Department of Chemistry
Texas A & M University
March 16-17 (Thursday and Friday) 2000.
Ph. (409)845-9125 www.chem.tamu.edu/services/crystal
The meeting will follow the Contemporary Inorganic Conference -II (Texas A & M,
March 13-15, www.chem.tamu.edu/cic/), so come to one and stay for the other!
This year we plan to hold a "hands on" workshop. There will be two SMART
1000's available and a new APEX system (tentative), so bring your problem
crystals. There will be experts on our many PC/NT/SGI platforms to reduce,
solve, crunch, refine, curse-at and maybe even finish your problem
structures/life/whatever. There is plenty of room for posters and rooms
available for impromptu seminars/discussions so bring your ideas. Bring your
crystals/data/lap tops and find someone to help or teach. As always there will
be good talk to lubricate the mind and coffee to lubricate the rest of you.
