SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THE PROTEIN
DATA BANK (PDB).

A position is available at Rutgers University in New Jersey for an
application programmer to support and develop software for the Protein
Data Bank.  Programming areas include:  macromolecular structure
analysis and validation, molecular graphics, web application
development, distributed object and relational database applications,
and general scientific programming.  Experience developing and
maintaining object oriented software on Unix platforms is required.
Experience in the following is highly desirable:  C/C++, JAVA, and
CORBA.

A position is also available for a systems programmer to support the
computing infrastructure of the Protein Data Bank.  A successful
candidate should have experience in managing and maintaining an
integrated computing environment of Unix, MAC and PC platforms.
Experience supporting website applications, relational and object
database applications, and scientific and graphics applications is
highly desirable.
