Bruker Area Detector User's Meeting. Year 2000!
Reciprocal Space Camp
The Smart Area Detector User's Group meeting (SADUG)
will be held at the
Department of Chemistry
Texas A & M University
March 16-17 (Thursday and Friday) 2000.
Event Organizer: Joseph Reibenspies
Ph. (409)845-9125 e-mail : j-reibenspies at tamu.edu
Web : www.chem.tamu.edu/services/crystal
The meeting will follow the Contemporary Inorganic Conference -II
(Texas A & M, March 13-15, www.chem.tamu.edu/cic/),
so come to one and stay for the other!
This year we plan to hold a "hands on" workshop. There will be two
SMART 1000's available in our 2000 square foot laboratory, so bring
your problem crystals. There will be experts on our 10 PC/NT/SGI
platforms to reduce, solve, crunch, refine, curse-at and maybe even
finish your problem structures/life/whatever. The workshop will be
an informal multi-session gathering with all events running simultaneously.
There is plenty of room for posters and rooms available for impromptu
seminars/discussions so bring your ideas. Bring your crystals/data/computers
and find someone to help or teach. As always there will be good talk to
lubricate the mind and coffee to lubricate the rest of you. The workshop is
free and open to all.
REGISTRATION FOR THE USER'S MEETING IS FREE! Please send a note to
j-reibenspies at tamu.edu if you wish to attend.
