Laboratory Technician
Rigaku/MSC, Inc. has an opening for a Laboratory Technician in our
Structural Biology group. The position is responsible for FPLC
purification of proteins, growing crystals of purified proteins, analysis of
proteins by gel electrophoresis and dynamic light scattering, as well as
other duties in our efforts to determine protein structures with the
technique of X-ray crystallography. Requirements include a B.A. or B.S.
degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biophysics or recognized equivalent
discipline with 0 to 3 years experience in a protein wet lab. Good math,
verbal, written and computers skills are also required along with a
willingness to learn and succeed.
