Postdoctoral Positions in Structural Biology of Membrane Proteins

Two to three postdoctoral positions are available at the Skirball
Institute of Biomolecular Medicine, New York University School of
Medicine (http://saturn.med.nyu.edu/groups/WangLab/). We aim to
determine the structure of integral membrane proteins and understand
their molecular mechanisms, using X-ray crystallography, genetic and
biochemical approaches. Currently we focus on sugar, antibiotic and
amino acid transporters, and 3D crystals of some of these proteins are
already available. These projects are funded by multiple NIH grants.
Interested applicants should have experience in protein crystallography,
and/or background in biochemistry/molecular biology. We value motivation
and intelligence more than experience and specific technical skills, and
will offer a competitive salary. Please send C.V., description of
research experience, and names of two references to: Dr. Da-Neng Wang,
Skirball Institute, New York University School of Medicine, 540 First
Avenue, New York, NY 10016, USA. Tel: +1-212-263 8634. Fax: +1-212-283
