                    ANNOUNCEMENT FOR UK-BASED RESEARCHERS

                   Open Meeting to Discuss Proposal for a
                     High-Resolution Powder Diffraction
                             Beamline on DIAMOND

An open meeting to discuss the above proposal will take place on
Wednesday 3rd October 2001 at Birkbeck College, London, from 13:00
to 17:30. Further details and a provisional agenda are now available
on the following web page:

Anyone interested in this proposal is strongly encouraged to attend.
