powerpoint movies

I am interested in making simple molecular movies (e.g., 360 deg. rotating 
ribbon diagrams) that can be displayed in powerpoint.   I noticed last 
summer at the ACA meeting that many speakers already seem to know how to do 
this.  I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has tested different 
software packages and has settled on a method they can recommend.
