Hi xtallography community,
while preparing my PhD thesis, I came across the short introduction on
the PDB webpage describing the terms "asymmetric unit" and "biological
unit". It states that "Occasionally, a molecule may appear multimeric
in the crystal, but this has not been proven through other studies to
be biologically relevant."

Does anyone have a reference of a review considering a "statistics" of
how often the crystallographic prediction of the quaternary structure
of proteins is correct?
I would very much appreciate your support!
Gregory
