looking for CAN1-lacZ protein fusion

I'm looking for a CAN1-lacZ protein fusion.
Werner Hoffmann published with regard to one in 1985 while he worked at
Zymogenetics. He's now in Germany working on non-yeast and hard to reach.
Does anyone have access to this fusion or made another one? Many thanks.
