clumpy yeast

One of the yeast strain I am using displays a strange growth after I
transform the cells with a plasmid carrying TRP marker and grow them in
SD-TRP. They form clumps(or nice round balls) at the bottom of the tube.
Is this normal for some strains? Will this affect transformation
efficiency?
How should I deal with this?
Thanks for your attention.
