YCp50 cloning question

Hi all,

Hope this isn't too dumb of a question, but I can't seem to find an answer in 
any articles.  In cloning into the EcoRI, ClaI, or HindIII sites in YCp50,
can you still screen for tetracycline resistance, or does the insert 
somehow foul up the promoter for the Tet gene?  Any comments would be 
appreciated.  You can email me directly to keep from cluttering up the
