haplo-insufficiency?

I recently have completed a plasmid dependence screen and was surprised
that the majority of mutants I recovered were dominant and allelic.  I am
curious whether there are precedents in the yeast literature for null
alleles which have a dominant phenotype due to haplo-insufficiency in a
diploid strain.

Any references, personal experiences, or pieces of folklore on this subject
would be greatly appreciated.
