Plasmid DNA miniprep

I have not seen people do "plasmid preps" from yeast. We do "Smash & Grabs" to
generate total DNA to transform E. coli and then do plasmid preps from E. coli.
See Unit 13.11 of Current Protocols in Molecular Biology or Gene 57:267.
Good luck.

I would greatly appreciate any references for the most current (and easy):

Plasmid Miniprep Protocol for 1-10mls from Yeast (C. c.)

Thanks, in advance.
