Gal-URA3 construction

Dear collegues:

I plan to make Gal-URA3 construct for my selection purpose. I am woundering
whether someone has made this kind of construction before. I would like to hear
your comments and suggestions about this. I welcome informations on its basal
expression and the distance between the Gal promotor and URA3 coding sequence
in order to keep it repressed under non-inducing condition. Thank you in ada
