Does anybody know if a yeast plasmid with the Gal promoter is available with lac z and a multiple cloning site, so that one can do a blue/white screen for insertion? Also, how far from the Gal promoter can a cDNA be inserted and still get expression? Thanks Lisa Konkel konkel at molbio.cbs.umn.edu
