pathogens?

This is, no doubt, a silly question but: do yeasts, in particular S.
cerevisiae, have pathogens? The question arises from a discussion about how
many transmembrane receptors an S. cerevisiae cell might need and why for
example no transmembrane protein kinases have yet (?) been found.
My apologies for any gaping holes in my knowledge of yeast biology.
