GST-fusions

Dear Buddies,

this subject may have been on the net before, but I'll give it a try. Could
anyone give me any hints as to the use of GST-fusion proteins in yeast? I
am considering options such as immunofluoresence, immunoprecipitation and
purification of complexes using GST-coupled columns (i.e. to analyse
proteins associated with my favourite protein). Also the relative
(dis)advantages of this approach with respect to various other tagging
methods (c-myc, HA, flag, protein A) are of great interest to me.

Any info or suggested readings are highly appreciated! I am willing to send
a summary to the net if people are interested. Thanks very much,
