Clumping Pichia

Dear All,

I have just started working on Pichia (using the Invitrogen kit) and am 
encountering a problem with my GS115 strain growing in clumps of about 
100 to 1000 cells.  Invitrogen say that this is not normal and suggested that I 
try to make a fresh batch of medium (YPD) and shake the culture harder.  I’ve 
done both but the problem persists.  Has anyone got any ideas?
