Howdy there!
I'm interested in long-term storage of some cultures of Saccharomyces sp.
(guess why?). I am familiar from my work with bacteria with glycerol
storage buffers that allow viable storage for up to several years after
snap-freezing at -80 C; I'm assuming (hoping) there's a comparable
protocol for yeasts, but don't know where to find it.
Any pointers are greatly appreciated in advance!
Thanks,
Alex
