Ascorbate and yeast

	Dear yeaster. I am working in yeast plasma membrane reductase at 
the moment. I am studying ascorbate free radical reduction (AFR) by 
yeast but I need to know if Saccharomyces or other fungi can synthetized 
ascorbic acid. I would like to receive any information or reference about 
ascorbic acid and yeast.
