Hi,

I search some informations about the best way to make a discriminative
identification of the brewing yeasts ( Saccharomyces cerevisiae var
cerevisiae and Saccharomyces cerevisiae var carlsbergensis ).
Now I'm using the CLP (chromosome lenght polymorphism) by pulsed gel
electrophoresis.

Is it the best technics, or is it somethinks else ?

What about the use of RAPD (PCR with non specific primer)

Thanks,
