request for selectable reporter gene

To whoever reads this posting:  

I am seeking a selectable reporter gene such as HIS3 or URA3, fused to a
minimal promoter (ie. No UAS) that contains a unique cloning site upstream
of a TATA box and start sites of transcription.  I currently have a minimal
GAL1 promoter fused to HIS3, but find that this UAS-less construct is
active enough make yeast containing this plasmid HIS+. 

Is anyone using such a reporter gene for the one-hybrid system or something
similar?
