Unidirectional GAL1-10 promoter?

Dean,

We described several such constructs in our 1984 MCB paper (West, Yocum,
Ptashne; 4: 2467-2478), including 5' deletions of GAL1 or GAL10 and
internal deletions that affect one more than the other promoter (eg delta
5). These are fused to lacZ, and thus not made for overexpression
studies, but they or the wild-type promoters could be easily modifed for
such a purpose with PCR.
