In my laboratory, we are trying to make low pH YPD plates (pH 2.5 and up). We are trying to characterize a new mutant. The problem is that the agar will not solidify under these conditions. I understand this is usually a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or recipes? Thanks, Louis Geller...
