CUP1 advise wanted

Greetings All:
		I want to make an inducible promoter system (not galactose) and am
considering using the CUP1 promoter.  How much of the 5' promoter sequences
do you need to get good induction?  Are there problems to the system that
account for its general lack of use compared to galactose induction?
