Two-hybrid system with inducible promoter

Dear bionet users,
I have tried to express a ribosomal protein by employing the two-hybrid
system. Plasmids were pAS2 (bait vector) and pACT2 (library vector). Both
express proteins under control of the strong ADH promoter.
I couldn't get any interaction with proteins. I think that the bait
protein is toxic.
So, does somebody know, whether an inducible promoter might be employed to
express the bait protein?
Thank you very much for your attention and consideration
Daniel
