Enzyme assays and protease problems

Hi all, I have a quick question...Has anyone ever had problems when 
performing enzyme assays in S. cerevisiae (with enzymes from an other 
organism) caused by proteases found naturally in yeast? What I mean is, 
if I want to do some biochemical experiments in this yeast using  an enzyme 
found in my favorite organism, do I have to take any special precautions 
to avoid any form of degredation or alteration of my protein in vivo 
while being produced in yeast?
