Random spore analysis

Hi
I would like to know if there should be a program specially
designed for the analysis of random spores in yeast so the work
with pen, paper and calculator could be reduced. In addition
I would like to know if anybody has on hand a mathematical 
expression (approximation) to circumvent the problem with the
presence of diploids which I never can get rid of completely using
selection methods like diethyl ether treatment e.g.
