Plasmid recovery from yeast

Dear netters
I am trying to complement a yeast mutant with a plant cDNA library,
constructed in lambda PG15. After screening, I have many putative
clones and I am trying to extract the plasmid and tranform E. Coli.
So far,  I haven't been able to obtain colonies with my different
extracts.
The mutant I use doesn't grow very well in YNB.
I would appreciate any suggestion to try to solve this problem.
