Your question pointing in the right direction, but ...
However, in yeast (S.c.) there is no apoptose but
yeast shows much more interesting peculiarity, AGING.
Process, that is representative for much more advanced
organisms (for instance human!), though only yeast (S.c.)
as a unicellular organism displays very similar process.
