SC recipe?

When many amino acids are autoclaved they are partially degraded. Therefore,
tryptophan and histidine will benefit from filter sterilization and dark
storage. However, since most media have excesses of all growth requirements,
this can be ignored and the strains will still grow. On the other hand, if you
are doing something where you really want to know the concentration of each
nutrient, such considerations may be critical.

In the yeast manual from CSH, threonine and aspartate were always added
separately after autoclaving. (I was taught to do this many years ago, and
have not had motivation to change).
