Help with yeast growth...

I am having a small problem with yeast contaminating one of our products.  I 
want to test a new batch of the product as it is packaged to be sure that the 
problem has been solved.  

Can someone suggest the optimal temperature for growing yeast?   Approximately 
how long would one have to grow a yeast culture at this temperature to have 
the growth be "overgrown"?
